Hi folks,
I love NetNewsWire, but am having a terrible time with it at present. It hasn't been responsive for months--slows down Safari/Firefox to a crawl. As of today, it won't load at all. I cleared out all my cookies, tossed the ~/library/caches/netnewswire folder, but still no luck.
I've reinstalled by simply dragging the program icon to Applications, but it hasn't helped. So, I thought maybe an uninstall/reinstall would help. I can't figure out how to do that. Can anyone help?

Hi Marilyn,
Instead of uninstalling or re-installing NetNewsWire, the best thing is to run a report that will tell me what's going on. Then I can tell you how to get performance back to what it should be.
Here's what to do next time NetNewsWire seems slow:
1. Launch Activity Monitor. (It's in your /Applications/Utilities/ folder).
2. Select NetNewsWire in the table.
3. Choose Sample Process from the View menu.
4. Once the sample report has been created, attach it to an email message and email it to support@newsgator.com.
Thanks!
