Perhaps only of interest to other Whidbey users at Microsoft, but: I installed a recent version of the Whidbey .NET Runtime on my mail machine, and NewsGator stopped working. I fixed it by creating a file name 'outlook.exe.config', with the following contents, in the same directory as my outlook.exe program. <configuration> <startup> <supportedRuntime version="v1.1.4322"/> <supportedRuntime version="v1.0.3705"/> </startup> </configuration>

| It seems like Whidbey also prevents the installation altogether. I'm always getting a message box stating "The DLL being called encountered a problem", then the setup aborts.

| Mario, if you still haven't been able to get it installed on your machine, send a note to support@newsgator.com and we can send you a link to an installer that should work around that problem.

Thanks for the help, but I uninstalled the .NET 1.2 framework temporarily to install it.
