| The Radio Userland plug-in documentation states the plug-in was updated to add category support. When I try the Post To Weblog feature, I only see a button which, when pressed, lists Outlook categories. I see nothing for Radio Userland categories. Where do I specify the Radio category for the post?

You can do one of two things:
1. Add your Radio categories to the Outlook category list, or
2. Just type the names of the categories in the text box next to the Categories button, separated by commas or semicolons.

I was trying to use Radio categories when posting but that did not work. i am a bit confused whether the internal category name has to be used or the visible category name. The internal category name might by myOrganization which can in turn be written together or in two words. So has anyone succeed in posting to Radio using categories?

| It definitely works, as many folks are using the plug-in with categories. When you say "internal" category name, what are you referring to? You might try it both ways, and see if either one works...

I do not doubt that it works - it just does not work for me. There are some "generic" Radio categories that are shipped with Radio like "My Friends", "My Organization" etc. You can rename the category without affecting that internal name. So, internally the category is still named "My Friends" but on the Weblog it is seen as "My totally different category name". Category folders are stored without blanks and umlauts like "myfriends" or "produktprasentationen" (instead of "Produktpräsentationen"). Now I tried every combination I could think of including posting to completely newly created categories without success. The posting always appears in my main weblog but not on the categories page. To make it even worse - i do not want some entries to appear in my main weblog since they are purely internal. That obviously is not possible right now. I am no registeres NewsGator user yet but I think I will license it anyway. Still it would be very helpful if I could completely do the job from within Outlook instead of posting from my browser and reading my feed in Outlook... Thanks for the quick response anyway...
