BUT I don't understand your remark:
"By way of apology, I've extended your free Premium subscription an additional six months."
Does this mean that after this period I will have to pay for a subscription in order to use the FeedDemon software further ??  Best regards, Jean-Claude.

c'mon, lay off the bolding and the coloring, it's making you come across as overtly hostile. In answer to your question, no you won't have to pay to keep FeedDemon (I'd throw some links up, but this has been discussed ad nauseum)

I get again a Window with this message:

Reason: This license key is not valid for this version of FeedDemon.

The only thing I did in between was to change my Account from
NewsGator Online Premium Package $19.95/year
to
NewsGator Online FREE!
Is that the reason ?

Yes, you currently need to have an active Premium subscription for FeedDemon to run.
The subscription is free to all upgraders so there's no cost to you to use it. You can opt to not renew at the end of the subscription if you don't need the services or upgrade maintenance.

BUT I, as customer I also have the right to be unhappy with it and to search for an alternative solution !!

An immediate charge to my credit card is simply UNACCEPTABLE !!
