FeedDemon was working fine, then ran FD2 application and  Subscriptions,watches and News Bins where empty of Folders and Feeds and therefore News Items. 

 The Xml error message was showing, I did'nt note what it said.  I was able to reload the folders and feeds from a back up a week ago but not the news items.

Possibly the problem arose when the screen froze using a different program, I shut down the computer using the shut down button on the computer box. That's a total guess. No other program I was running at the time seems to have been effected.

This Xml error message used to  happened when using the beta 1.6 but it's the first time using any form of FD2.

The real issue is is there any way of backing up the News items within the Folders  and Feeds . Currently the folders and feeds are backed up, the News Items are not, I think I am correct in saying that. Is there any way News Items can also be backed up and saved, or can a priority be given to this feature in any upgrade?

This feature would greatly increase users of the program confidence that important data (news items) can backed up and saved, rather than lost!!
