I get this in the console log:

./src/btree.c:1339: failed assertion `pCur->idx>=0 && pCur->idxpPage->nCell'

I mean it doesn't even start. Icon bounces a bit, and I get this error. No other errors show up, and app does not launch.

A particular one of NetNewsWire's databases has been corrupted. Here's what to do:

1. In the Finder, go to [your home folder]/Library/Application Support/NetNewsWire/

2. Put the file NewsItemStatus.db in the trash.

3. Launch NetNewsWire. All should be well.

It's possible that, right at first, you'll see read items come back as unread -- but probably not.
