Here is am example:

The image is not loading in the newspaper view. (I am using the Outland theme and the newest FeedDemon build)

It's because the images are linked via relative links, which is a no-no in RSS 2.0 (that's stright from the lips of the creator of the RSS 2.0 spec  ) - the aggregator has no way to determine what URL the link is relative to.
Atom has a baseURL tag that can be used, so I would see if a) there is an Atom feed available and see if it shows the image or b) let the feed authors know that the image is not coming through and why.
