| Since it's inception, there has been only one way to read RSS on NewsGator Online - full-text. We are happy to introduce the addition of 2 new views to the NewsGator Online reader which will allow a much greater flexibility for you, the user. We call them Summary and Headline views. Both of these views are accessed via the Display Options menu.
Summary View: In the summary view, the post title, post control buttons, and the first 250 characters of the post are displayed. The rest of the post can be displayed dynamically by clicking the [+] button. Headline View: In headline view, only the post title and post control buttons are displayed. As with the Summary view, clicking the [+] button will display the rest of the post in-line. Ads: For our Free subscribers, these new views contain context relative google ads on the right hand side of the screen. This means the Ads are related to what the posts are talking about. Ads do not display in full-text mode, and will never appear for our Premium subscribers. The aim of these new views is to enable you to quickly look through large numbers of posts without having to scroll for hours This should allow you too read more relevant information, and easily skip posts that don't interest you. Feedback is always welcome in the Feature Request Forum.
