This morning we introduced a change to the NewsGator Platform that will allow much greater syncing and reading capabilities. Our definition of what is "current" is no longer restricted to the contents of the source feed, but will adhere to the following rules:- We will always keep what the publisher has as “current” in their feed up to a maximum of 200 items
- In addition to what the publisher has kept as current, we will keep up to two weeks of historical entries up to a limit of 200 items
- Starting from today, we will begin accumulating beyond what is in the source feed – it will not be retroactive
- When a user subscribes to a feed, they will start with what the publisher has as “current” in source feed - they won't be bombarded with 200 posts

These rules do not apply to SLE feeds Since this starts today, you should see a steady improvement in sync capabilities going forward. It also means than people who do not leave their client on 24x7 may see more posts, and users of our web reader wil see more posts in high-traffic feeds. This has been a much requested feature, and feedback is most welcome in the NewsGator Online Feature Request Forum.
