I don't know if anyone has brought this up or not, but what happened to the old icons for the toolbar? These new ones are the only complaint I have about the new NNW. I certainly hope they are brought back at least as an option of sorts... you know, try our new set of icons, or go back to the original. The new ones remind me too much of the new netscape before it became Mozilla. ick. I love the new look, just not the new toolbar icons. They've been over-simplified and look boring and non-descript. All my toolbars in every app that use them are set to icon only so I can immediately determine what they are at a glance without all this mundane text floating around. It's a great program and all, but aesthetics are 50% of the equation to me. It has to work good, and look good too. Without an option, I will always be on the lookout for another newsreader. Bottom line. Just to see what it looks like. And if it has the features I want, looks good to boot, who knows... maybe I'll switch. And the list of feature I want are pretty basic: read feed in a paned view, flag, mark as read, click on a link and have it open in my browser if I want, email (services option, so that will always be there whatever I choose) – just about any newsreader out there. But NNW 2.X looked great, and looked OSX-ish, even down to the descriptive and detailed icons in the toolbar. I suppose I could also look into the bundle itself and find the resources and swap them out with the original ones. ;-) That would work too, but while you are still taking feedback, I offer mine.

I agree with you, maybe if we have the choice for the old or new toolbar icons, this could be great.
