| The help file does not mention that, if you activate this option, it is not respected for posts already retrieved. This is true even if you exit Outlook and restart. The option is only respected for posts retrieved *after* activation. Might be nice to clarify this in the documentation. I only installed NG earlier this evening, so don't know if this applies to other options. Maybe this should be considered a bug? When I change option settings in programs, I expect them to be respected immediately or, absolute worst case, when I exit/restart the program.

This is indeed expected/intended behavior. NewsGator uses this option setting when it is retrieving new articles and storing them in Outlook.
You're right, though, this should be mentioned in the help file - I've added this to the list for the next release. Thanks!
