| For some strange reason newsgator go on my BB 8320 will no longer download the newest articles from feeds like the New York Times, NY Times Business, Yahoo News, etc. For example I am only receiving feeds through last Wednesday Feb 13, 2008. Newsgator GO used to always show the most recent articles when I selected update. I am running v2.2.7. As a test i deleted my new york times home page feed and then added it back as a feed. Now it shows the most recent 11 artilces posted today but none of the old artilces from periods prior to Feb 13, 2008. Articles are set at 2000 ( i am showing 851) and my settings are set for showing the newest articles first. Why is this suddenly happening?

Try deleting your mobile location from your NewsGator Online account. Here's how:
1. With NewsGator Go! closed or at least not trying to communicate with our servers (You can turn the radio off.)
2. Log in to NewsGator Online
3. Click on Settings | Edit Locations
4. Find the appropriate mobile location and delete it
5. Launch NewsGator Go! on your Blackberry device
The application will re-create the location. Hopefully this will get you going again.

I carried out the instructions as you suggested but it did not solve the problem. I deleted the Newsgator Go location on line while my blackberry was turned off. I turned the blackberry back on and launched newsgator go on the device. Nothing happened. Is there anything else i should try? Thank you.

Hi
I have the same problem with BBCNews - and think I have worked it out. The blackberry only holds 50 articles at a go, if the feed is quite quick updating and you do not read quick enough it loads the last 50 articles from the bottom of the feed. if you keep selecting read all, eventually you get the latest ones. To me this is the wrong way around on a mobile device. Can it not load the last top 50 from the feed and if you want more than do read more?
This is the only thing thats stopping me from dropping google reader and coming back to newsgagtor. I was a feeddemon user since day 1 but became a Mac switcher. Loved the new netnewswire and if the mobile version would sync as well then would move 100% back.

| Thank you. Your suggestion did the trick. I agree with your suggestion about how it should load the newest 50 articles before loading older articles. Maybe Newsgator can look into this and provide a fix in a future release. Until then, thanks to you.
