No, it won't do that. The Blackberry browser won't load either when connected to USB and the radio is off. Unfortunately you can't cradle it like you can for Windows Mobile devices, as far as I know.
I have heard though that Blackberry has some software that acts the same as ActiveSync, but I haven't tested it.
