| Hi, Nick, here are a couple of interesting (but non-fatal) things going on with my home installation of Inbox 3.0 build 526 (my office install is fine.) First, I am being prompted every day to mark unread messages as read because NG thinks I have about 10000 more unread messages than I actually do. Obviously, I can turn off the prompt but that would only mask the symptom. Possibly related, NG's temporary file area in "c:\Documents and Settings\Jeff\Local Settings\temp\NG" has, at last count, 1885 sub-folders. (Compared to 3 on my office computer, though I have less subscriptions there.) Not critical issues by any means, but something to think about in your copious free time. :-) Thanks, Jeff Metzner

Can you send in your diagnostics? Particularly post.db.
Also, what folders are under that temp folder?

| Diagnostics are on the way. The temp folders are named with hex numbers like "0b98f5415b6147b59bfc3f4e80002bc6", "bf4bb72fb3f346c48c8cb407762d8e03", etc. (Maybe GUIDs?)

| Nick, it turns out that my posts.db is too big (13MB zipped) for me to email from any of my accounts. Is there another way I can get this file to you?

Send it without for now. If I need it I'll figure out a way to get it.

The temp folders are not related to NewsGator Inbox (or any other NewsGator application that I can think of). But you have me curious... what's in them?
Try running disk cleanup through windows and see if they get deleted.
As for the other issue, I'm looking into that today. I plan on doing a bug fix release next week so I should be able to get a fix for that in.

Can't seem to reproduce the Unread Items issue. How do you typically read? Do you use the NewsPage? Do you mark items read or delete them?
To resolve it, just delete that posts.db file. It looks in there for post states that are unread and it looks like you have a bunch in there that are out of sync. That may be a result of the beta process though, so try deleting the file and see if it happens again.

| The folders are empty, oddly enough. I'll try deleting posts.db and see what happens.
