Hello,
sometimes when I read some articles from http://www.dwdl.de/ in FeedDemon, I'll get an error.
I think these errors are caused by the layer ad and it's javascript.
Here's a screenshot from FD, when it happens:

I need to close that tab in FD, or I will get an error every x seconds...
(Note: It seems like, you will see only one layer ad per day)

| I'm not able to reproduce this problem, and I've tried several times over the past two days. In your screenshot, though, I noticed that the error message (which roughly translates to "Cannot be downloaded. Unknown defects" in English) has "Windows Internet Explorer" in the title bar, which means that the dialog is coming from the embedded Internet Explorer rather than from FeedDemon itself. You may be able to prevent the dialog from appearing by enabling the "Suppress dialogs displayed by the browser" option on the Browing tab in FeedDemon's options, although I should warn that doing so will suppress all IE dialogs, including login prompts for secure pages. Best,
Nick Bradbury

Nick Bradbury (4/11/2008) I'm not able to reproduce this problem, and I've tried several times over the past two days.

Unknown defects" in English) has "Windows Internet Explorer" in the title bar, which means that the dialog is coming from the embedded Internet Explorer rather than from FeedDemon itself. No, it comes definitly from FeedDemon.
I need to close the dwdl.de tab or every x seconds, these message will appear.
While you were trying to reproduce this issue, haven't you seen such an advertisment or have you seen one, but the error didn't occur?

What Nick means is that the error is generated by the embedded Internet Explorer control. So yes, it's coming from within FeedDemon, but it's not specifically a FeedDemon error.
Did you try changing the option to suppress IE errors as Nick suggested?

Hello,
Did you try changing the option to suppress IE errors as Nick suggested?
Yes, I tried that. But it doesn't changed anything.
I watched that problem for a while, here is what I noticed:
- Only JAVASCRIPT actions/links are affected
- You need to activate the option "Open external links in default browser instead of inside FeedDemon"
