Hi!

Is it possible to export my actual feeds from Newsgator and import this feeds in another rss-reader (e.g. google reader oder a desktop reader)?

Is ist otherwise possible to import the feeds from another reader into Newsgator?

Thanks in advance.

If you're talking about the content - generally no. If you just want the feeds themselves, that's what OPML is for.
In Newsgator online, go to Settings->Locations, then click the "OPML" link in the section labelled "NewsGator Web Edition". If it's set to private it will ask for your Newsgator user/pass.

Erk - uh, at that point you're supposed to get an OPML file that you can import into other feed aggregators. However, I cannot confirm that right now because all I'm getting is a blank page

Uh Devs - is OPML working right now? Or is this a FF3 issue (I'll check when I get to my workstation at work, but right now I cannot bring up any OPML)?

Almost every feed reader out there should allow you to export an OPML file. NG Staff, correct me if I'm mistaken, but I believe that if you import your OPML from another reader and someone has subscribed to one of those feeds in Newsgator before you, you should be able to see older posts from that feed. However, if you're the first, then you'll only get the content that's in the current feed file.

To import your OPML, go to Add Feeds->URL & Import tab. click on Import (You'll see "URL& Import" in the tab itself, then the separate words "URL" and "Import" right under that - click on that Import. You'll have the option to either upload a local OPML file on your system or enter a URL to an OPML Link somewhere on the internet.

I hope I was clear enough - if you have any questions about the stuff I just spewed out, don't hesitate to ask!

Works fine for me in FF3.

Working fine for me in FF3 as well - Try changing it to public and see if it makes a difference.

I tried that before I reported the issue in my post above ...

However, I tried it when I got to work (in both FF3 and IE8) and it works fine :/

I'll try FF3 safe mode when I get home and see if there's an extension killing it
