Hi Everybody,

first of all thank for this application, is very nice to use.

But i have some doubts about two things and hope that somebody can tell me what about that:

1) On NetNewsWire for Max, i have around 15 feeds sites, but on iPhone only appears 11 sites.
Why??. The applicaton for iPhone have a limit of sites or something like that?.

2) When i update my feeds on iPhone whit WiFi on my house.... then when i read them on another place whitout WiFi, will use the 3G or EDGE plan for watch this?. Or all updates i can watch them offline whitout connect to online again?.
(in another words, the program always need a conection for see the previously charged feeds?).

Thanks for any answer. And sorry about my poor english

Cheers!.

1) Syncing between readers only covers the last 2 weeks worth of items, up to a limit of 200. Chances are some of your unread items on the Mac are older than that.

2) Once you have finished syncing, the text of the feed is completely downloaded. The only extra connections NNW makes are for images in the feed, or if you tap a link in the feed it will open the internal browser. It will also make regular connections back to the server to sync the read status as you read items (but this uses a trivial amount of data, so I wouldn't worry about it).

Bottom line is, I turned off WiFi to save battery life and even with a bunch of surfing, app downloading and feed reading along with hourly IMAP mail checks I only used 320mb of data in September. NNW, even with images in feeds, tends to use a trivial amount of data.

Please note that I am not actually employed by NewsGator, and my opinions should not be taken as their official stance on any matter. I'm just a happy FD user (since pre-1.0 alpha in 2003) helping out where I can.
