phillip_koebbe (10/9/2008) My experience suggests that when there are no unread items in a feed (or read items in the "don't delete read items for x days" window), the feed is not listed on the iPhone. I don't know if this is a bug or feature, by my preference would be to have it configurable. I want to see all of my feeds all of the time, regardless of the number of unread items.
Peace.
Just to be clear, the issue you are describing is totally unrelated to the issue being reported on this thread.

I've been having the same trouble since.
sequence of events:
1. Downloaded netnewswire onto my iphone. read and reviewed the default feeds that come with the install for about a week. No problems.
2. Rgistered on newsgator yesterday. Added new feeds, deleted default feeds. logged off.
3. opened nnw on the iphone. all my feeds disappeared.
4. deleted and reinstalled nnw last night feeds came back. I had several hundred unread messages to go through. I reviewed 1.
5. synced this morning. all my feeds are gone.
6. Deleted and reinstalled this morning. feeds are back.
7. Read 1 feed, selected 'view in safari',
8. Opened nnw. feeds are gone.

| Correct -- if a feed doesn't have current items, it won't be displayed at all until it does. (Current items is defined by settings for saving read and unread items -- see the Settings application.)

Brent Simmons (10/14/2008) Correct -- if a feed doesn't have current items, it won't be displayed at all until it does. (Current items is defined by settings for saving read and unread items -- see the Settings application.)Brent, it doesn't sound so far like you've acknowledged the issue that initially started this thread (and that I am also experiencing) as a bug. Are you guys investigating?
