I use netnewswire on my mac, and feeddemon on my pc.  I just installed feeddemon and did a sync.  ALL of my subscriptions are now screwed up with most of them showing only 10 unread items when I know there are way more than that.  I have looked through the options to find out where this is being done, but why is feeddemon capping me?  how do I revert back to what it should be?

grrrrrrrrr.

Are you looking at the unread count in the tree pane on the left, or at the number of articles on the newspaper page on the right? If you're looking at the newspaper page, it's paginated with a default 10 articles per page. Look in the lower right-hand corner of the window and you'll see a set of Forward/Back arrows that will take you through the pages.

If you want more than 10 articles per page, go to Tools->Options->Reading tab and at the bottom will be the option # of Items per page. Keep in mind that increasing the number of articles per page will increase the time it takes to render a page when you switch feeds/folders

I am looking at the number of articles in the tree pane.  When I click any of those groups, I will see only 10 of them as "unread" and somehow the other articles got marked as read.  On the mac, they showed up as unread as they should have been.

So I'm curious as to what's capping them at 10.

Hi,

This happened for me as well, I use NetNewsWire on my MacBook and decided to install FeedDemon on my windows desktop. I setup FeedDemon with in my newsgator user/pass and it got all my feeds but then set only the newest 10 messages to unread. FeedDemon must have synced because when I went back to NetNewsWire on my Mac all of my unread messages were obviously then read (apart from the newest 10 in each feed).

I don't really want to load up FeedDemon again yet in case it does it again!

Thanks.

What happens if you move one of the feeds in question to a non-synched folder?

I think this must be a problem only for the 1st time you install and run FeedDemon as it's been working OK all week now.

Thanks.
