I cant get firefox to log me in automatically to newsgator online. I've manually added newsgator into the always allow cookies list, ive also added it to adblock and even disabled gator.com from the cookies spywareblaster is supposed to block...but none the less remember credentials wont work...it does work in IE though. any ideas?

I'm using Firefox 1.0.6 and it works for me. I verified it works as expected on two different computers and had another person try it as well.
Try setting your cookie preference to allow "newsgator.com" instead of "www.newsgator.com". The first will ensure that anything from any newsgator.com server is allowed.
If that doesn't fix it, try removing any newsgator.com exceptions, restarting the browser, and then logging in. Also be sure to check the "Remember credentials" checkbox. (I know you probably knew that, just being thorough.)

I tried all that...still doesnt work...I now found one other site I have problems with firefox and remembering the password...sourceforge. But this forum does remember...so there has to be a specific type of implementation of cookies that affects this. thanks

| No, there wasn't any changes on our side that would have effected that. I'm glad to hear that your working... However, if you or anyone find this still to be a problem. Please let me know.

you claim that nothing changed on your side...but something did...here is another thing that changed... before: I clicked on the "mark all posts as read" link at the bottom of the page...but if I clicked BACK on my browser, I could simply go back and see what was there. (i had to do this a few times when I clicked on the "mark all...." link too quickly and noticed something I wanted to read as I was waiting for the page refresh)...then if I clicked the forward button i went to the page i needed to be at now: if I click the back button, I still get a clean page...and then if I click the forward button I get the box warning I am going to post again... these didnt happen till this week....and those are programming changes AFAIK...my firefox has not been upgraded...i have been using 1.0.6 since the day it was released..i havent changed settings in firefox either...come on...admit it...did you make changes?

I dug deeper and still found nothing to change to effect this.
