Congrats to all involved on the NetNewsWire acquisition; as a longtime NNW customer I'm looking forward to the broad synchronization options.
Is there a timeframe for release, yet?
I'd also like to make a feature request. One of the valuable features of NNW has been the ability to pull feeds from local process (e.g. Applescripts). I'd like to see it able to "push" these feeds up to NewsGator for use via the web and mobile clients.

No timeframe yet, but it will coincide with the next release of NetNewsWire which will incorporate support for NewsGator Online.
As for the feature request, the only problem I see with it is that NewsGator Online can't subscribe to feeds that aren't accessible over the net. So if you're running processes and generating feeds at http://localhost, NewsGator Online won't be able to see it. But if those feeds are running on a publically visible server you will be able to subscribe to them and have the feeds show up in any NewsGator client (NNW, FeedDemon, Outlook Edition, etc.). Password protected feeds are also supported.
I'm still getting up to speed so I can't speak directly to the functionality of NNW, but all of the NewsGator clients support direct subscriptions which bypass NewsGator Online. This allows you to continue to subscribe to local or intranet based feeds in your client.

I understand the dilemma here. Perhaps my feature request is for NNW itself, then: allow "republishing" feeds to a WebDAV server (e.g. .Mac iDisk) then communicate the published URL to NewsGator Online.
Is this the appropriate forum, now, to discuss NNW features?
