Actually, Blogger removed their Blogger Pro service level; I'm not sure what the plans are there.

Here are a few other options:

TypePad is a very nice hosted solution
If you're .NET-savvy, and want to host your own weblog, you could try .Text or DasBlog.
Radio Userland
Movable Type
pMachine

There are lots of others as well...definitely don't look at the above as the definitive list!

So if you upgrade you get RSS feeds and can post via outlook?

I was going to try a few sites out and see what I was happy with but MUST work through outlook including post. Do you have a short list.

I am looking for something personal and something private for about a group of 10.

Any pointers apreciated.

Believe it or not, at the moment, Blogger does not provide RSS feeds for its free sites. I believe this will be changing shortly, but for the moment this is the situation...

I signed up to Blogger and can post online ok.

I have downloaded and installed the blogger plugin.

I have not been able to determin how to get a rss feed. I type the url for the blogger site and I have tried the IE gatornews autodiscovery to no avail.

Right now you are probably thinking I know nothign and you would be close
