We were able to resolve the problem fairly quickly, and restore the lost feeds. However, we were unable to place the feeds back in their respective folders. Users who were affected would need to place the feeds back in the original folder themselves, and set up any custom naming convention they had in place.

PROBLEM: When a client such as FeedDemon or NetNewsWire requested the subscription list from NewsGator Online, the command itself was not updated to reflect the new subscription list, and the clients, on second pass, deleted the subscription without any notification, because the notification had already been given.

Any clipped items would not have been affected by this problem, but all flagged items and the read/unread states for all articles within the feed was lost.

Fortunately, it affected only a small number of users. We have taken steps to prevent this from re-occurring, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
