It loads too slowly, the headlines are rarely of much importance (fake tiger photo? lottery ticket debacle? they're several days old and weren't that important when they were actually "news") and rarely refresh on their own (if ever), and clicking the thumbs up and thumbs down doesn't seem to do much, either. And how do you choose? An article about a 41-year-old Olympic swimmer; there's not much to like or dislike about that; it's maybe of passing interest, but is it something that belongs in the top three news stories for the day (not to mention that's five days old now)? I assume there are more important things going on in the world. But pressing the thumbs down doesn't make it go away and bring up something more relevant, or at least fresher. What's the point? We have partnered with SenseArray to provide suggested articles based on your own interactions with the reader.<br><br>The recommended stories feature works by sending to SenseArray the relevance data collected when users click links, tag, save or forward articles. Users can also give direct feedback on the recommended articles with simple “thumbs up” and “thumbs down” controls. All users get a set of recommended recent stories chosen from the seven million new daily articles NewsGator retrieves. Users can also display recommendations within specific sub-categories like Top News, Entertainment, Sports, Fun Stuff, Science and Technology.<br><br>To configure this feature, simply click on Settings from the menu.
