Oddly enough, it's not crashing anymore now. But if this happens again, I'll paste in the crash log.

Would you post a recent crash log here? The crashes you did have have been fixed, so I want to see what crash you're getting now.

The crashes still seem to be continuing with 3.1b36. This version will fetch stuff from my feeds, and then times out, especially when I have a lot of items in a folder, and then crashes. I've been keeping an eye on the Activity Window, and this timeout seems consistent for whatever folders I chose to refresh. There are several crash logs that I sent you via Report this morning.

I am also using beta 31 and have been sending upwards of 6 crash reports every day since I installed beta 31. The previous beta crashed just as often.

I have found that certain news feeds (mostly canada.com) cause most of the crashes when I go to the selected page.

I am using combined view, and have hundreds of feeds and tabs, but lots of computing power.

Thanks for the crash logs - this looks like a threading issue that should be resolved with the next beta.

And it just crashed again. This time will loading and reading pages in the built-in browser.

NNW just crashed. I put the laptop to sleep last night and it crashed this morning almost as soon as I opened the lid again. The crash log is attached.

My apologies. I misspoke. I'm running b31 and have been since it was released.

I will reply to this thread with my next crash log. I've also been faithfully sending them to Newsgator (through NNW's automated reporting) every time it crashed.

The first thing to do would be to upgrade to 3.1b31

Next, go to NetNewsWire > Empty Web Cache - we've had a number of cases where a corrupted file in the cache has caused problems.

Other than that, if it crashes again, attaching a crashlog to your reply could help.

Constant Crashes with 3.1b21

NNW has been crashing at least once day, for the past 4-6 weeks. Sometimes more than once a day. I've tried using the built-in browser and I've tried not using the built-in browser. I've tried using the Combined view and I've tried not using the Combined view. Last night, I tried removing my NNW Preferences and Application Support files. That didn't work either. This morning NNW crashed again.

I'm running NNW 3.1b21 on Leopard 10.5.1. I'm running both on an Intel MacBook.

This is becoming seriously annoying. Is there anything I can do to help track down the source of these crashes and figure out how to resolve them? As a former Linux user, I have a passing familiarity with crash logs and application debugging. If there's anything I can do to help Brent fix this, I'm more than willing to do it.
