We think we know what is going on here. The developer is testing a theory now. We need a few days. Hopefully we can resolve this issue. We appreciate your patience.

Ok, the PPC version on the beta download page still appears to be the old version, not the new one you mentioned, at least according to the Current Version function in the app. I installed the SP version to see if that was any better, and it does say it is the new version, but exhibits the exact same problem. I also tried installing the SP version to the Storage Card to see if that made any difference, but it didn't. Any other thoughts?

The beta was just made available late last week. (Version 2.0.0.23378) You would have had to go to the beta download site to get it. It is not available on the consumer download site.

I believe that is the same version I already have installed. When I click "Current" in the reader it tells me I have version 2.0.0.23346. Sound right?

If this is a bug in the application it is a significant one, but I believe others would be reporting this as well. We have a new beta version that I would like to have you install. If you can recreate the problem there we'll need to pursue this further, since this is the version where we would make the changes.

If this new version works for you, I would recommend sticking with it. Here is the [url=http://forum.newsgator.com/Forum67-1.aspx]link[/url] to the beta forums where you can find the new reader.

I did the following:

1. Closed all Feeddemon/Newsgator applications so that they would not contact your servers
2. Logged in to my NewsGator Online account
3. Clicked on Settings | Edit Locations
4. Found the appropriate locations and deleted them (NGMobile-Jerrys_Mobile and NGMobile-8950)
5. Uninstalled the Newsgator GO! application from my HTC
6. Checked that there were no remnant directories (there wasn't)
7. Re-installed the application
8. Launched the application, gave it my login info, and allowed it to synchronize. During synchronization it displayed all of my feeds. After synchronization it told me I had nothing new.
9. Launched NewsGator Online to ensure that there were in fact new posts (there were) and verified that a new location was created (it was, called NGMobile-Jerrys_Mobile).

Go! for Windows Mobile uses the same location name by default. If you did not manually delete that location and allow the application to recreate it, the location will actually be unchanged.

Did you actually delete the location or did you just uninstall and re-install the application, or did you do both of these?

Followed the above steps, expect actually uninstalled and re-installed the app before I tried to re-sync. It created a new location, and shows my subscribed feeds during sync, but always says there are no unread posts. The behavior is the same...

Any other thoughts?

Let's try deleting your Mobile location from your NewsGator Online account. We have noticed that these locations go haywire like this from time to time. Here's how to delete one:

1. Close the application so that it is not contacting our servers
2. Log in to your NewsGator Online account
3. Click on Settings | Edit Locations
4. Find the appropriate location and delete it (NGMobile-??????)
5. Launch the application and allow it to synchronize

The application will re-create the location, and will synchronize the read/unread state for all current articles.

Client Shows No New Posts

For some reason on my Newsgator Go! client on my Windows Mobile 6.1 AT&T (HTC) Tilt/Kaiser, I am not getting any updated posts. The client is able to sync, and goes through the motions of contacting the different feeds but doesn't actually show any new posts. It just shows "There are currently no unread posts in your feed list." If I fire up my FeedDemon client it shows plenty of new posts. I have tried uninstalling the old client and making sure the Newsgator Go! folder is gone, then installing the latest Beta with no luck. Any ideas?
