The server itself can be either internal or external facing.

If it exists solely as an internal server, then you would not be able to add its feeds to a NewsGator Online account, and subsequently would not be able to synchronize content. You could, however, use a desktop reader like FeedDemon on a computer that lives behind the firewall to access these feeds, but synchronization would be out of the question. That is where the NewsGator Enterprise Server comes in.

So let's assume the MOSS faces externally, meaning users from outside the corporate network can subscribe to feeds from that server. The feed itself will either require credentials or it will not require them. Either way, it is a simple matter to add that feed to your NewsGator Online account, then synchronize that content to your mobile device and desktop applications.

Sharepoint support

Hello,

We are experimenting with pulling RSS feeds from our in-house Sharepoint server to our blackberry handhelds. I am curious if this blackberry client supports this function. From what I have read, the NewsGator enterprise server can pull the RSS feeds from the MOSS server and relay them to the blackberry. But this might be a little much at this stage. I was curious if this application supports it.

Or has any know of an blackberry RSS Reader that can do this ?

Thanks...
