Any chances of getting NewsGator to assist us?

RE: Samsung Instinct Support?

I'm half way to getting this to work on the Instinct w/o mods by Newsgator. Since the Instinct has no keyboard, I was able to find that I can change the default username and password in the downloaded .jad file to my credentials and the app pulls them in so I don't need to type them.

BUT, when I start it pauses on the settings screen with "timezone: --- Not Set ---" (above that are my correct credentials.)

After a nice sized pause, the app trys to start and I allow it to "always access network." However, it says "Unauthorized user. Please check the spelling and case of your username and password." I know they are correct in the .jad. So my questions for the Newsgator team:
1) does the password need to be encrypted in the .jad? I'm guessing not since the default was not.
2) Is there someway on your side to say my account has access to this app so that when run it picks this up from your servers? When I go to my account page on newsgator.com, it has Windows Mogile and NetNewswire listed under "My Clients" but not Newsgator Go! for Java...

Remember that due to Instinct issues we can't actually use input fields...

Thanks!!

RE: Samsung Instinct Support?

Bump for hopeful response from Newsgator team...

Samsung Instinct Support?

Will there be support added to the Java version of NewsGator Go! to accommodate the touchscreen and lack of physical keyboard on the Samsung Instinct (SPH-M800)? I'd love to use my synced account to read my feeds on this device.

The app downloads and runs, but like all other Java apps that don't support the device, you can not enter text into the input fields to login and start using the program.
