Following the instructions from that post did not help
Firefox was telling me I could not access that location.

However, navigating directly using the address bar and then saving the file locally did the trick.

I'm still this error with the official release of Firefox and the version of NewsGator Toolbar downloaded today.

Any thoughts on a resolution?

I'm having this problem with the released version of FF3.

My only issue is that I can't seem to open the file - whenever I do it asks me for a username and password; using my normal forums ones doesn't work. Security settings wrong on the file?

Is there any possibilities to get a firefox addons of NewsGator FeedDemon like NewsFox firefox addons. there is a software of feeddemon but i love & like to get a firefox addons of newsgator to read feeds in home as well office......

pls let me know.

I have this fixed in the FireFox extension, though I'm not going to post a new full toolbar release just yet. But in the meantime, you can grab the updated xpi.

Please do the following:

1. In FireFox, uninstall the current NewsGator Toolbar - DO THIS IN FIREFOX!!
2. Restart FireFox
3. Go to File > Open File and enter this url: http://support.newsgator.com/individual/tools/Test%20Builds/ngtoolbar.xpi
4. Click Install

This version should fix all the errors associated with FireFox 3.

Since FireFox 3 is still in beta, we don't officially support it with the toolbar. I'll log this as a bug, but it probably won't get resolved until FireFox 3 has a stable release candidate.
