This means that if they fall of the feed the same day that they are published, they will still hang around for 2 days.<br><br>The shortest time you can keep posts is for as long as they are in the feed. I pull all my feeds from Newsgator but even though I have specified a global setting of 2 days in the preferences, much older items remain. I have some feeds like digg that post many items every day and I am trying to limit what is being archived.
