I think you have the right idea -- one folder in NetNewsWire for you, and one folder for her.

I don't know of a limit to nested folders, other than a practical limit of 4 or 5.

There are other programs that give us a hassle with user switching. So no user switching for us. We have tried many times we are done.

iPhoto iTunes are the only two programs that come to me at this moment that let you launch it a certain way and have two dif databases

Any way to do that with NNW? Or can someone recommend a solution that does not involve user switching or a sign out of NNW

I guess nested 2 top level Folders 1 for me and her and then populate more nested folders under those.

Is there a limit for nested folder?

i think 2 issues. sharing itunes and maintaining seperate nnw prefs.

i would suggest moving your iTunes library to /Users/Shared. then setup individual logins on the machine and use fast user switching between them. each user will have prefs for iTunes and NNW and you should be good to go.

you may run across some bumps with the shared iTunes library and when dealing with songs added to both users music lists, but you should be able to find methods of addressing by googling that topic seperately.

Hello, does anyone have a good way to share two users with one copy of NNW?

Is there a way to open it up like you can with iTunes (select dif itunes DBs) and choose what opml file you want to use?

I share a macbook with my wife but we dont like user switching that much in mac osx since we share the same itunes lib.
