I hate having to learn new forum interface stuff all the time. I was happy with an nntp feed I was happy with an RSS feed Now I have to change again --

there sure is, but not widely advertised:
http://www.newsgator.com/forum/rssfeed.aspx?id=14&Task=ForumRSS
and what do you mean "all the time"? in 2 years the move from nntp to forums was understandable, and this is the exact same forum software as bradsoft.com just with a few minor tweaks.
Please note that I am not actually employed by NewsGator, and my opinions should not be taken as their official stance on any matter. I'm just a happy FD user (since pre-1.0 alpha in 2003) helping out where I can.

Thanks > and what do you mean "all the time"? I was referring to support groups in general, they are all moving from newsgroups that I can access with one tool, to disparate web based software > this is the exact same forum software as bradsoft.com just with a few minor tweaks. I wasn't aware of that, just looked different and I have to register again and lose continuity. Posting seems different, haven't seen this interface before |

ok, so my definition of a "minor tweak" is a little wider than most
as a programmer myself I can see the similarities between the two to the point where I use them both the exact same way. Or, I did until the old ones closed

How about more widely avertising it? Personally I can't stand having ALL of the tech support questions coming in ONE RSS feed. I want each of the forum group (FeedDemon, Topstyle, etc) to have it's OWN RSS feed so I can look for just the message sets that I want (like on the previous Bradsoft support forums).

I don't know why they don't widely advertise it. Makes life sooo much better.
If you look at the URL for each subforum, you will see a number at the end; stick that number in the RSS url I posted instead of "14" and you'll get just the posts for that forum.
EG 15 for FD features, 7 for FD Beta.
