My computer crashed to the point where it won't boot.  I was able to add the hard-drive as a slave to another system though and copied all my files from My Documents over.  Feed Demon is working again, but I don't have any of my channels showing.  How do I get those back, considering that I can't run the normal cache export thing?  Is there simply a file I can copy in place?

By default, FeedDemon 1.5 stores it's cache in:
C:\Documents and Settings\{user name}\Local Settings\Application Data\Bradsoft.com\FeedDemon\1.0

FeedDemon 1.6 stores it's cache in:
C:\Documents and Settings\{user name}\Local Settings\Application Data\FeedDemon\v1\

If neither of those two paths work, try searching for files ending with the extension .fdxsl. That's what the FD styles use and it should be unique on the system.

Once you've found the location, look for the Groups folder. This contains an OPML for each of the groups you had in FeedDemon 1.5. If you're using 1.6, copy subscriptions.opml which will be at the root of the cache. Copy whichever, as appropriate, to the new system and FeedDemon should load it and restore your subscriptions. Note that this won't restore the posts, though.

That file had already been copied to the new system, but was being ignored.  I tried to import it but it failed saying that group already existed.  I just imported it with a different name and now all my feeds are there.  Strange!

Thanks much for the help.
