On Thursday, January 26, we will update the US NewsGator Online site with the following changes:
Features- New look – The beginning of our migration to a new look and feel for the Online Application.
- Icons are larger – For better navigation and ease of use, we have made the icons bigger and increased the space between them.
- Moved the location of the post information (Date, Time, and Publisher) to the top of each related post.
- "Mark as unread" – The ability to toggle posts back and forth from read to unread. This only applies while the post is in the “current” view. It is not available on older posts.
- "Back to Top" added to Folder View – To assist with user navigation for longer post lists, we now have a "Back to top" link available in Folder View while "Group by Feeds" is enabled. This is located at the bottom of every group and at the bottom of each page.
- Expand or collapse feed in Folder View – In Folder view with "Group by Feeds" enabled, you now have the ability to collapse or expand Feeds by clicking the “>>” icon, located in the upper right hand corner of each Feed Banner.
Fixes- Disabling “Group by Feed” is now persistent. The option will be remembered between sessions.
- Occasionally the "+" icon next to folders randomly displayed in a larger size. This has been fixed.
