I would like to be able to automatically download podcast without individually clicking on each episode.  I'm sure I'm just doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what it is.  Can someone give me some pointers?

I'm assuming you're using FeedDemon to subscribe to the podcasts RSS feed, correct? If so, just right-click on the feed in the feed list, left-click on Feed Properties, click on the Advanced tab and check-mark "automatically download enclosures" (that's the procedure for 2.0 b - I think 1.5 should be just about the same, but I don't have it on this particular machine to verify).

If you're using FeedStation with NewsGator Online (not FeedDemon), there isn't a way to automatically download all enclosures at this time. You'll need to continue to select podcasts individually.

Guys..

That's for the compare and contrast on feedstation when used with Feeddemon vs Newsgator. This was unclear to me. Honestly if I can't automatically pull enclosures down then I might as well use iTunes and subscribe to podcasts there - but that's just me...

Since Feeddemon automatically pulls enclosures via feedstation.. this is actually a very good thing.. I've found that just because a podcast exists that doesn't always mean that it's available on iTunes Music Store.

A podcast doesn't have to be in ITMS to subscribe to it in iTunes. You can also add any podcast URL via Advanced | Subscribe to Podcast....

I have the same problem, and i just can't figure out what i'm doing wrong!

I check the option called "Automatically Download Enclosures" for each channel.

Now what? How do I download my podcasts automatically? The only way I can download a podcast is to click on the little paperclip icon on each item. I want the program to simply download all new enclosures automatically without having to individually click on each paperclip.

Also, in FeedStation, I have it set to download "as soon as possible", and not on a schedule.

This is so frustrating... please help!

Thanks,
John
