When I click on "Subscribe" when an RSS feed is present on the page, I get the following error:

An unexpected error has occured.

Please contact support@newsgator.com

Could not find file 'C:\Users\Charlie\AppData\Roaming\NewsGator\NewsGatorSubscriber\www.msn.com.IE.html'.

Thanks!

Hehe - can you please send an email to support@newsgator.com?

We've seen this error from a few people but have not been able to reproduce it. I have a private build of the toolbar that I can give you that may help use track it down.

Thanks!

We believe the problem happens when you have Toolbar installed in IE7, and User Access Control enabled. Can you try disabling UAC and see the the problem remains?

I just installed on my home Vista system and I get the same as well.  If you run IE in administrator mode it gets round the issue.

Any idea on when we will see a new version of the toolbar?  It’s a great tool but I still find it a bit buggy and prone to throwing up URI errors.

No.  Like I said, runing IE in admin mode gets around it in the meantime.

Have just become a member of this forum to try and solve this problem I'm having w/ the newsgator toolbar.  Have downloaded it but it's not appearing? Am using a computer w/ XP Pro and and IE7.

Are there any suggestions as to what I may be doing wrong?

Thanks

Are there any errors reported?

When you click on a blank area of the toolbar, and it lists the available toolbars, is NewsGator listed?
