I have a feed which has a ridiculously long title - "WREG - Home --WREG-TV Channel 3: Your leading source for news, sports and weather for Memphis, Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas" - it's so long the title truncates after "Memphis, Tenne" the widget box

I don't want to drop the titles completely - I do want some of the title to display in the widget so people know where it came from. Is there any way to override the feed title?

The feed in particular is:

So the word from the developers is that there isn't a built-in way in Editors Desk to do it, but it may be possible:

Option 1: If you're using a custom widget (messing with the html, javascript etc.) you can create a javascript function that will let you specify conditions and return alternate text.

Option 2: If you have trouble with that, we may have a little back-door you can try Shoot us an email to NewsGator support and I'll have a dev step you through it (but it isn't a particularly pretty interface)

That's what I kinda figured - I just wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking something obvious before I spent the time hacking up the coding

If I can't get the Jscript working, I'll try this
