So i've randomly had my scroll bars disappear in NNW, and I think I've narrowed it down. If you click on a javascript link that would open in a new window, it opens in the current window in NNW. Then if you click the back button, you have no scroll bar.

Click on the thumbnail. Then click the back button to lose your scroll bar. I'm on 3.1b31 10.4.11 Intel Mac Mini

Yep, unfortunately if a link points to a popup and tells the browser to turn off the scrollbars, there isn't much we can do... What should happen though, is that the popup should go into a new tab - thatway the lack of scrollbars is limited to the popup tab. I've created a bug report (120351)
