Hi, I'm new to NetNewsWire and feedreaders in general. however, this shouldn't be a HUGE deal.
Right now, I have subscribed to a few feeds and read the latest 25 posts from each feed. What I would like to do is have the ability to go back and read previous posts from each feed as I have the time. Currently, I just get new posts starting with the date that I subscribed to the feed. I want to go back and read everything that has beenposted on any particular feed.
how is this accomplished?

We don't have a way of doing this, but I'll take it as a feature request.
One thing you could do is just go to the website (where the feed comes from) and read through the archives (if provided). Though I realize it's not the same thing, still, it will actually allow you to see older content.

Wow, thanks...That'd be huge. Like if you could just say...I'd like to see the latest 25 posts and once those are read....maybe a dialog box or option. that says "Would you like to see the previous 25 posts?...
Is there any other feed reader that does this?

If you synchronise the feed and log into the online newsreader, you should be able to view old posts and access entries back to the first day NewsGator started synchronising the feed. It won't help if nobody else has ever added the feed, but they have something like 2.5 million feeds now so your chances are good 
Please note that I am not actually employed by NewsGator, and my opinions should not be taken as their official stance on any matter. I'm just a happy FD user (since pre-1.0 alpha in 2003) helping out where I can.
