| Hi I have an O2 xda 2i with windows mobile 2003 Newsgator Go! installed ok but when I run the app it closes automatically and doesn't give any errors. I have used both the desktop activsync and .cab installers Any ideas?

It's a pretty poor forum when a new member can't get a response to what turned out to be a really simple problem.
I add this was also probably my fault because I didn't RTFM
Although to be fair finding ANY information on this product is pretty hard. Sorry I digress.

If the program crashes and you don't recieve ANY error at all ensure that you have the
.NET Compact Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 Redistributable installed
You can download it here:

I hope that helps

I must have missed this post. We ironed out the problem though in this thread.

Hi,
I have had a similar error and sometimes when it crashes it tells me I need a later version of the .net framework.
My problem is that as a Mac user - I don't use activesync and so have no way of obtaining it. I can download the .msi file and when I try to use filejuicer to extract any CAB files there are none extracted.
Does anyone have any idea how a Mac user can get the latest .net framework files as CABs for installation on my Dell AXIM x51v?
Thanks for your help
Kev

We have discussed this and I'm afraid we do not have an answer for you. First time this has come up. Please let us know of any progress short of finding a PC.
