My newsgator inbox 3.0 installation didn't finish successfully and now I can't re-install or uninstall it.
When trying to re-install I receive the error "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor".
When trying to uninstall "Start->Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs -> NewsGator Inbox 3.0 -> Remove" I receive the same error message.
Can you provide any suggestions ?

You can try this tool: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301
It will clean out all the registry entries MSI uses to track installed programs and should allow you to try a fresh install after.
