| So... I just randomly left my mouse over the status bar, the area where the hyperlink info comes up when you mouse over a link. Up popped a tooltip - "Game". What the? 
Please note that I am not actually employed by NewsGator, and my opinions should not be taken as their official stance on any matter. I'm just a happy FD user (since pre-1.0 alpha in 2003) helping out where I can.

| doh, after loading FD this morning I can't repro it either. I'll keep checking through the day and maybe pick up what I did to trigger it. Is there supposed to be a status bar tooltip? If it doesn't appear often, the places that do set it should be easy to find in the codebase

I never saw a tooltip of any kind.
I was wondering what the chances were that FD was maximized and you accidentally viewed a tooltip from another open program/window's taskbar button?

nope. FD isn't maximised, and I confirmed it was a FD tooltip using the other buttons on the status bar (mousing back and forth between buttons on a toolbar instantly changes the tooltip, and this worked between the "game" tooltip and the Next Page button)

| I see what's happening. The component I'm using for the status bar automatically sets the tooltip when you programmatically set the status text, so the status text must've been set to "Game" at some point (most likely the title of a link was "Game"). I'll get rid of this in the next build, since there's really no reason to show a tooltip above the status bar.

that's weird, because I was mousing over a bunch of links at the time trying to make the tooltip change with the status bar text changing. Must've been only one title set on a link somewhere in my feeds, and the tooltip was never cleared
