Hi!

Would it be possible to add an option to execute a user defined command/program after download, similar to the option to 'After downloading a podcast copy it to' option...

I would like 'After downloading a podcast execute this program' option...

Would that be an option?

I believe this type of functionality hasn't been included to make sure that you don't accidentally run something you didn't actually intend to download (which could happen if you had all he enclosure handling options set to automatic).

Maybe there's another solution, though. What type of enclosures do you want to run?

Actually I wasn't planning on 'running' the enclosure. Some of my podcasts (mp3) do not have MP3 ID tags in them when I download them from the source. I have a simple perl script which I run to set the ID tags. I do this before I transfer it to my music device.

Thats what I was wanting to have done automatically... (I always forget to do it!!)

Are you using FS' support for copying to your media player, or are you handling that manually? If you're doing it yourself, you could modify your script to handle both tasks for you.

My media player is my mobile, which I use bluetooth to transfer the files as they tend to be quite small... FS doesn't support transfer via bluetooth, so I do that manually....
