Please add me to the list of the people with this problem! I have this problem on many feeds, one example is http://www.heise.de/newsticker/heise-atom.xml.
Following Szenario: Monday evening I close FeedDemon @home with some messages in this feed unread. Tuesday I open FeedDemon @work, everything seems fine with this feed. Monday evening I read all messages @work and close FeedDemon @work. After that I've checked Newsgator online, 0 messages unread for this feed.
Back @home I open FeedDemon, after syncing nearly all messages of this feed are presented as unread! Newsgator online shows them unread now, too.
Looks for me as if syncing is not working and every instance of FeedDemon keeps its own read/unread-markers.
Please help...

I'm getting the same thing, I read all my feeds in FeedDemon on one PC (Vista), but not all the items are marked as read to NewsGator Online, so when I go to my other PC (XP) or Mac running NetNewsWire I have to mark them as read again.
If I read items in NewsGator Online or NetNewsWire all the items sync as they should, it just seems to be a problem with FeedDemon not syncing all read items to NewsGator.

| Installing FeedDemon 2.7 (http://www.newsgator.com/Individuals/FeedDemon/Default.aspx) that just came out and then selecting 'Tools > Synchronization Options' > 'Advanced' > 'Resync Now' on each FeedDemon PC has fixed the problem by the looks of it.
