Thank you for your patience. You should now be seeing updates for higher-priority feeds. The servers will cycle through all of the feeds over the next few hours and everything should be back to normal soon.

Hi, this is my first post.
I'm having an issue with NetNewsWire (I'm using 3.1.6 now but it happened with older versions too). I don't really know if the problem reported in this thread is the same than mine.
My problem is that NetNewWire is not updating those subscriptions without a new post in a time frame. I mean, Daring Fireball, with 4-6 posts each day, is updated without a problem. Mark Shuttleworth's blog, with a new post every month or so, is updated some days after published (in this case, the post from May 12th was updated and archived the 15th). These are just random examples, it happens all the time with similiar subscriptions.
I unchecked the online sync yesterday so maybe it's the same issue. Thanks.

I don't know if there's something wrong or the app is working as expected.
Edit: I've just read this post from Greg Reinacker and I understand there are problems with certain feeds sometimes. I've checked the NewsGatorOnline: the Mark Shuttleworth feed has a problem (Error from the source of the feed) and some others of my feeds have the same error.
So it seems there's nothing wrong with NetNewsWire after all.

I am also having this problem. Just a few feeds will not update unless i delete them and re-subscribe.
I have updated to the latest NNW and the problem persists.

Any chance we can get these statuses exposed in NetNewsWire somehow? I rarely log in to Newsgator online, other than the mobile interface, so the chances of me seeing these status are slim.

| I'm experiencing this problem frequently today, and yes I've logged into the online feed manager and used the "tool" (which doesn't even have any feedback when you click the ping buttons, that's kind of lame). I then quite NetNewsWire and restarted it, which seemed to fix the problem briefly but now a number of my feeds aren't updating again. If I remove a feed and then re-add it, the problem goes away, but I'm not going to do that for two dozen feeds.
