My last reader had a choice when setting up how far back to grab I think. How do I do this with NGI? I also noticed that on NG ONline it shows 90 new but in my inbox it shows only 11.

I just noticed that it's not just "Six String Bliss" I have another feed called Biz Plan Hacks which has only 1 item in NewsGator Inbox and 45 items unread online. In addition I have a problem with "NewsGator Inbox News" error below. I get dozens of these messages a day and never get any posts.

Retrieval for subscription "NewsGator Inbox News" failed with the following error:

Unable to connect to the remote server

Make sure that you're proxy connection information is correct (NewsGator Inbox > Options, Connection Tab). There's is also a test wizard in there that can help you verify that Inbox cannot make internet connections.

I don't have a proxy or any connection problems that I can tell. It's only the NG feed that this message comes to. With regard to the sync issue, other folders sync entirely, but this one and another don't.

Sounds like a strange DNS issue. Try deleting the feed and re-adding it:

It won't let me add it. It looks for the feed then says it can't find it. Screen shot attached.

This is definitely a DNS issue then (I can get to the URL with no problems). I would contact your network administrator.

I found it. I use a tool called PeerGuardian which is a port blocker for. I tracked it's log while doing an update and found www.zslide.com at 208.122.24.146 was hitting me when updates were happening. I allowed it and the NG list added.
