I see this in NGI and online but there is nothing in help that tells me what it is, why I might want it, how to use it, etc.

Basically clippings give you a way to save off posts that you find interesting. Under your clippings you can set up various folders in order to organize them.

You can also share your clippings via your own RSS feed. You can set this up in Inbox by going to NewsGator Inbox > Options > Folder Options, Clippings Tab. Select the folder whose clippings you want to share and click "Edit". Then select the "Share as an RSS feed" checkbox. I think we've got a screen cast of how to do this in the works somewhere.

Thanks. I now have the toolbar and having that clip icon really helped me understand. I've clipped your response as a start.
