When trying access "friends-only" feeds from LiveJournal that require digest authentication, I get two errors. First:Retrieval for subscription "Tracey" failed with the following error: The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request.
And then: Your subscription to "Tracey" no longer exists for this location in NewsGator Online and has been removed.
The entire reason I'm trying Newsgator is because Outlook 2007's feed service doesn't support digest authentication and Inbox supposedly does. But if it doesn't work then it's not much use to me. Can you help??

There seems to be a pattern emerging with these issues. I'll dig into them this week and let everyone know what I find.

I've confirmed this as a bug and am working on a fix. I'll get a test build up probably in a few hours that should resolve this.

That was fast! Impressive. The new build seems to work, for the most part. I added several Livejournal feeds requiring digest authentication and most of them worked just fine. A few still errored out, but they may have other problems and I will investigate one at a time. Thanks!

| Same as before. But I'm going to try those feeds again.

Yes - you'll need to delete the old feeds and re-add them.

| Yeah, the old ones had already been deleted by Inbox when they failed. But I was able to add the rest of mine successfully and they are all working now. Thanks very much for the help!
