Hi - I've searched around in the forums for a bit and haven't found anything regarding this. It could be that I'm searching with the wrong words of course, but I hope this isn't a repost.
Background:
I have two monitors. the first is my laptop screen and the second is a 21" monitor in a vertical orientation. (What can I say, most of the stuff I work on is looooong).
This works well for me and NNW (3.1.6) in Traditional view as I can maximize the application and see all my folders on the left, have all the posts listed above the "view pane" and enough room to read the post without double-clicking on the post.
Issue:
When I leave work and move back to just my laptop monitor, NNW resizes to fit the smaller monitor. But when it does so, the "view pane" disappears.
The only way I've been able to get it back is to change the layout to Widescreen, then back to Traditional. When I do that, the view pane is "closed", but I can access the top bar and drag it "open" and up to a normal size.
Can someone help me figure out what I'm doing wrong, or identify it as a bug?
Thanks!
Edit: fixed version from 3.6.1 to 3.1.6

What happens if you minimize NNW before undocking? Does it make a difference at all?

Keith - actually, it did.
I was surprised, but when I minimized it, then unplugged, then maximized it worked fine.
I'd still appreciate a fix of some-type as I don't always remember to minimize apps when I'm late and running out of the office, but this is a solid work-around in the meanwhile.
Cheers!
