It's true. Nick linked to this page in his link blog, though now that I think of it, I'm not seeing any "official" announcements in NG channels. I may have to bug someone about that...

It's a long story, but the short story is that I screwed up  The new version has now been announced on my blog, and the readme has been updated. It may be a few days before "Check for New Version" reflects the new release, but that, too, has been updated.

| Thanks, Nick. What confused me that a) the version number had changed, b) there was no announcement in the forums, c) 2.6 was still on the NG site.
